Pune Mhada lottery 2025
The MHADA Pune PB_25SEP lottery application process closed on 30 November 2025, witnessing a record-breaking surge of 2.15 lakh valid applications—almost three times higher than the previous year’s lottery. While applicants are still waiting for the final lottery results, a major concern for many is that their EMD amount has been locked with MHADA for more than 3–4 months, causing understandable frustration.
So far, MHADA has published a draft list of applications with EMD paid up to 30 November 2025. Using this published PDF, we have filtered and analyzed the applications to help applicants understand the level of competition across different categories. As per the MHADA draft list, there are 15 categories in which at least one application has been received, as shown in the chart below.
Categories in MHADA
The MHADA Pune Lottery 2025 receives applications under multiple categories based on social, occupational, and special classifications. Understanding these categories is essential to correctly interpret category-wise application numbers and competition trends. Many applicants are unclear about which category they belong to, especially regarding the General Public category. It is important to note that MHADA does not provide separate reservation for OBC or SEBC categories; such applicants apply under the General Public category along with Open and EWS applicants.
