Welcome to Analyst Voice, a technical platform run by an independent engineer that works for engineering students by converting raw cut-off and placement data into meaningful statistics, blogs and tools with logical methodology and for mechanical engineering professionals by providing technical guides, homologation standards for the automotive seat domain and practical CAD and engineering skill required for plastic product development.
The idea behind Analyst Voice came from the difficulties faced by engineering aspirants during admission and by engineering professionals in their early careers.
1.Engineering Aspirants – Navigating through lengthy and heavy cut-off PDFs from CET and DTE for each year and round, selection of branches and colleges, confusion regarding reservation category and seat-type selection, preparation of preference sheets according to cut-offs, etc.
2.Engineering Professionals – Lack of technically written information regarding the automotive seat domain, homologation standards such as ECE and FMVSS, and the high cost of plastic design courses create difficulties for students as well as professionals in the early stages of their careers. Analyst Voice aims to bridge the gap between theoretical college knowledge and practical industry knowledge.

Hi, I’m Siddhant Patil, a diploma and graduate in Mechanical Engineering from Kolhapur and working as a design engineer in Automotive seat system with 3 years of Industry experience in Pune. I founded Analyst Voice to simplify Engineering college admission process and to share practical knowledge from Automotive seat domain.
Why this platform exists
As I completed both diploma and graduation in Mechanical Engineering, I am also familiar with the admission processes of DTE (Directorate of Technical Education) and CET Cell. During the admission process, I personally experienced problems like confusion regarding documents, vertical and horizontal reservation categories, seat types such as State Seats, Home University and Other Than Home University seats, and preparing college preference lists by navigating huge cutoff PDFs for multiple years and rounds.
At the same time, while working for the last 3 years as a Design Engineer in Automotive Seat Systems, I realized that very little easy-to-understand information is available publicly related to automotive seat systems, homologation standards like FMVSS/ECE, and practical plastic design guidelines.
Analyst Voice exists to share practical insights, analysis, and simplified information based on my own experiences, research, and learnings. All content is based on publicly available data, personal research, and my own professional experience.
What Analyst Voice cover
I have mainly categorized my findings and services into 2 Categories which is Government Engineering admission and Automobile Engineering
2. Engineering admissions
Analyse engineering admission cutoff trends, tools to view cutoffs, college and TFWS predictions, and informational guides for smooth admission into Diploma, First Year and Second Year Engineering.
3. Automotive engineering
Informational and practical blogs explaining the automotive seat domain, homologation standards, testing, recent updates in seat systems, and plastic design guidelines with real-world examples.
